Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer with a passion for the restaurant industry to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, conceptualizing, and executing unique dining environments that reflect brand identity, enhance customer experience, and optimize space usage. Working closely with the founders, this role requires a blend of artistic vision, technical skills, and industry insight to create interiors that stand out in London's competitive dining scene.

Key Responsibilities

* Concept Development: Collaborate with the internal team to understand and interpret design briefs, creating innovative design concepts that align with the restaurant's brand and target audience.

* Space Planning: Design effective layouts that balance aesthetic appeal with operational flow

* Material and Finish Selection: Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and lighting to achieve desired ambiance, durability, and compliance with health and safety standards.

* 3D Visualization and Rendering: Produce high-quality 3D models and visualizations to communicate design concepts to press.

* Budgeting and Project Management: Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and timelines, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.

* Vendor Coordination: Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and artisans to procure materials and custom furnishings, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.

* Client Presentations: Prepare and present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback to refine design concepts and secure client approval.

Requirements

* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio in the hospitality or restaurant industry.

* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.

* Knowledge of Building Codes: Familiarity with UK building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards specific to the hospitality industry.

* Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work efficiently under tight deadlines.

* Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience working closely with contractors, and cross-functional teams.

* Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail, color, and spatial arrangement, with a passion for creating cohesive and memorable interiors.

* Local Knowledge: Knowledge of London’s dining scene and current trends in the restaurant industry is highly desirable.
